What you need in order to present a charity.

The rules:

 

Only members who have paid their annual donation can present a charity.

Outside/non-members are not allowed to present.

 

There is a five-minute time limit for the presentation and five-minutes for questions.

 

At this time, we do not allow for slideshows or videos.

 

To receive funds the charity must be a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

If we find out after the meeting that your charity is not a 501(c)3, the money will be awarded to the second-place presenter.

 

The charity must serve the Ankeny area (but not exclusively).

There must be an immediate and specific need for the funds preferably to be completed over the next 30 - 60 days.

 

We do not provide money for administrative fees or long or reoccurring expenses. The charity must agree that no administration fees will be paid with this donation.

Once an organization has won, they are not allowed to presented for two years (8 quarters).
